Marketo

VIP Speakeasy Party @ W Hotel

September 20th 6:00pm-10:00pm

This Speakeasy was supposed to be the most difficult event to get into the entire Dreamforce week. On top of being on the list with a special badge, a password was also required. As soon as I got a hold of that secret word (jazz) I told the door guy my name was Jazzme, and with a quick dip I was in.

Within this unique tasting experience filled with wine, bourbon and vodka stations, I met Rob Larson -the CEO of Credicase. He had heard about some increasingly popular blog that I had featuring different companies, and he passed along his product to be mentioned.  This iphone case that he created consolidates all your essentials for when you leave the house, combining your wallet, phone and i.d. into one.

Informatica

Informatica Cloud Connect Party @ Parc 55 Wyndham
                                 September 7th 7:00pm-11:00pm

It's bold enough to be crashing an un-invited event, but to have another person strolling around the same place that looks creepily similar, just takes it up to a whole different level. As much as I denied knowing that person, she was in fact my identical twin sister. We appreciated the speciality drink that evening; the Covisint Cloud containing vodka, blueberry puree, blue curacao & a vanilla (cloud) whipped topping. After a few of these cocktails, I went with the short-haired version of me, and jumped into the photobooth to capture an event crashing with a twin, what I would classify as "Twinning".  We finished the night by cracking open a fortune cookie together, and both agreed that the note inside had always been the best part of those cookies.

For more twin talk, I made this for my twinster last month - http://youtu.be/NVfs1mPeY5k

Bluewolf

Dreamforce Tech Meetup hosted by Bluewolf @ 111 Minna
                                September 18th 5:30pm-8:00pm

This is Jonathan Staley, a product marketing manager and also the speaker I met that evening representing Bluewolf.  By definition, Bluewolf is a company that makes enterprises agile and unites IT under innovation, as a global agile consultancy. I went out that night in an attempt to decipher what that actually meant. I chatted over cocktails with the in-house cloud developers, and asked around for a more concise explanation of what's really going on here. One engineer summed it up best when I limited him to only three words, he narrowed it down to the "enterprise instance evolving." He also mentioned that if I dropped those words in any conversation that night I would look like I knew what I was talking about, which worked seamlessly.... or it could have just been the chardonnay.

Bluewolf, constantly consulting.

Adobe

Hilary Pecis & David Bayus Artist Reception Hosted by Adobe
                              September 13th, 5:00-8:00pm

How did I get a badge? Well, I needed to.
also apparently needed to get an escort. With Adobe's security it required that I bring an escort with me, a bit provocative but it was mandatory. I joined the artists in some wine and cheese to welcome their pieces into the Adobe office. This is me with David Bayus, one of the featured artists that utilizes product photographing. This technique, displayed in the artwork piece above, includes a cleaning brush and a tablecloth. David then creates a high resolution digital montage that he prints and paints over to create a singular art object. He uses Adobe to create layering, represent multidimensional meaning, and have a place for me to crash an artist reception.

This is me, changing the world through digital experiences with Adobe.

GO

GO's 4th Birthday Party + New Site Launch @ Code Salon
                       September 10th 5:30-8:00pm

GO, which stands for Groundwork Opportunities, is a charity working to create a world beyond poverty. GO partners up with leaders in the developing world to address community issues then provides them with start-up capital and guidance to turn a vision for a better world, into a reality. To honor the 4th birthday of this nonprofit they served drinks, delightful hors d'oeuvres and celebratory cupcakes at a hair salon.  Why was a birthday celebration being held at a hair salon? I still don't know, but what I do know now is why that group of ladies in the front had extraordinary hair.

Go create a world beyond poverty... or at least go get your hair done.

Stuff

Breanna's Birthday @ Stuff

September 2nd  4:00-7:00pm

A crashing with cake.

Breanna was having a birthday celebration at her workplace and I joined in for the good stuff.  Located in the Mission, Stuff is an 8,200 sq. foot store that's filled with all things retro.  Over 25 dealers navigate estate sales and flea markets to find essential design goods. From danish chairs to a kaleidescope on a canvas, this eclectic antique modern store is a dog-friendly place, that provides cake sometimes.

Stuff worth checking out.
